Susan Tedeschi's love of blues music began as a small child when she would listen to her father's record collection of old vinyl recordings of musicians such as Mississippi John Hurt and Lightinin' Hopkins. Her "caribbean mint" 1990s Fender Telecaster guitar is adorned with personalized autographs of her blues guitar heroes including B.B. King, Hubert Sumlin, John Lee Hooker, Clarece "Gatemouth" Brown, and Jimmy Vaughan (as well as jazz pianist legend Herbie Hancock). Instead of keeping this prized possession on display at home, she takes the guitar on the road with her regularly using it in over 100 shows per year.
