Chris Isaak has a unique way of thanking the audience at the end of his performance at the West Coast Blues and Roots Festival in Freemantle, Australia on March 23, 2013. Isaak got the inspiration for this gesture from country music legend Jimmie Rodgers who had the word "Thanks" written in large type on the back of his guitar. Ernest Tubb furthered the practice, and one of the most iconic photos of Tubb shows the country legend grinning and giving "thanks" by flipping his guitar backwards.
