Preview: Indie Legends James To Headline Darlington All-Dayer
Indie legends James will headline a huge show at Darlington Arena, home of Mowden Park RFC, this August, with a supporting cast which promises to deliver one of the North East’s gigs of the year.

James, fresh from touring their latest collection, Be Opened By The Wonderful (on which they were accompanied by the Orca22 orchestra) will return to more familiar territory for the show on 5th August 2023. The band, who have sold over 25 million albums worldwide, are hitting a rich vein of form right now, at a time when lesser bands have a habit of fading into obscurity.

The strong supporting lineup features Editors, fresh from packing out the Woodsies Stage at Glastonbury, and local legends Maxïmo Park, who will no doubt relish the prospect of a stadium show on Teesside. Completing the lineup is a resurgent Pigeon Detectives, The Kairos and Pale Blue Eyes.
