Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires surprise appearance at Ryan Adams' concert at The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on April 28, 2015. This was Ryan's first appearance back at this iconic venue since 2002. At that earlier show, an audience member thinking he was funny shouted out for Adams to play the song "Summer of '69" making a joke of the fact that Ryan is often confused for the Canadian singer Bryan Adams. Ryan became incensed and demanded the audience member to be ejected from the venue. As a nod to that prior incident and as a form of apology and self-humor, Ryan played an acoustic version of the Brian Adams hit during this show. It was a highlight of the concert!
