Legendary soul singer Sam Moore, one half of the pioneering R&B/Soul duo of Sam & Dave, brings in the new year in his New Year's Eve concert on December 31, 2014 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nicknamed "The Dynamic Duo", Sam & Dave are considered one of the greatest live acts of the 1960s. Many subsequent musicians have named them as an influence, including Bruce Springsteen, Al Green, Tom Petty, Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, Steve Van Zandt, Elvis Costello, The Jam, Teddy Pendergrass, Billy Joel, and Steve Winwood. The duo had a string of hits in the 60s including "Soul Man", "Hold On, I'm Coming", "I Thank You", "When Something Is Wrong With My Baby", and "Wrap It Up".
